Kenya began her ABA journey in 2016 while helping a colleague’s family member who was diagnosed with ASD. Observing how impactful the services were for the family, she began working as a behavior technician and developed a passion for the science of behavior analysis.  Kenya graduated from Capella University with an MS in Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis.

Kenya is passionate about continuous growth and learning in our science and is actively involved in attending professional conferences, serving as an executive board member for BABA, and disseminating our science to the community. She takes a special interest in trauma-informed care, caregiver education, mentorship, and organizational behavior management.

Kenya’s experience extends to working with clients ages 3-21 in a variety of settings and coordinating with schools on IEP and 504 plans. In her clinical work, a focus is placed on the coordination of care amongst each client’s multidisciplinary team incorporating research in Trauma Informed Care and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to provide the best quality care possible for families.

Outside of work, Kenya loves spending time outdoors with her two sons and husband. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, gardening, writing children’s stories, and yoga.
